Birhanu Manaye, a visual artist born in 1998 in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia, began his creative journey influenced by his older brother. He studied painting and drawing at the Abyssinia School of Art in 2015, earning a certificate, and later specialized in Printmaking at the Ale School of Fine Arts and Design, graduating with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in 2022 with highest honors. Birhanu held his first solo exhibition at Galleria Tomoca in 2024 and has participated in seventeen group exhibitions both locally and internationally. In 2025, he showcased his second solo exhibition, "Woven Memories," at The Space Ethiopia.
