Dagim Abebe (b.1993, Ethiopia) is an artist, curator and writer based in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia. He holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) in Painting (2018) and a Master of Fine Arts (MFA) from the Alle School of Fine Arts and Design at Addis Ababa University. His MFA thesis, The Gambits (2023), explores complex narratives of contemporary issues through art practices. In addition to his artistic practice, Dagim writes on the evolution of Ethiopian contemporary art, focusing on themes of memory, identity, and collective experiences.
